We moved to Elk Creek about 10 months ago, after looking at numerous houses. Elk Creek Ridge is a quiet, safe neighborhood. You are only 10 minutes from Wal-Mart in Shelbyville, and 15 minutes from Taylorsville Lake (A beautiful recreational lake). The schools are great, and only minutes away as well. Jeffersontown is only 20 minutes away. My husband and I lived in Owensboro, Ky. most of our lives and were hesitant to move, but after living here for 10 months, we can honestly say that Taylorsville feels like home and we wouldn't have it any other way.

Are there deed restrictions?

Yes. A copy of the restrictions are posted on the "Deed Restrictions" tab on this Web Site. The original documentation is also available in printable PDF format at the same location.

Can I build a fence?

Yes! As long as the fence doesn’t come past the front wall of your home,
exceed 54” in height, and is made from wood or composite material.

Can I have a detached garage or storage shed?

Yes. The exterior must be of brick, stone, brick veneer, stone veneer or a combination thereof. Plans must first be approved in writing by the developer, and the structure may not reside beyond the front of the house.

Can I use another builder?

Yes. While Sanctuary Homes, LLC would greatly appreciate an opportunity to build your home, we realize that sometimes there are family/friend connections that you would prefer to use; in that instance the plans, exterior materials, and driveway site must all be approved, in writing, by the developer.

Can any other type of homes be placed in Elk Creek Ridge?

No. Only stick built homes of ALL brick, stone, brick veneer, stone veneer or a combination thereof will be allowed. This will be strictly enforced in order to maintain the value of your home.
